It's sadly been confirmed that Chuck Norris has passed away. TMZ reported Thursday that Norris was hospitalized in Hawaii due to a medical emergency. Although a ton of details weren't released at the time, it was reported that he was in good spirits. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse. On Friday morning, the Norris family announced his passing. The legendary action star and martial arts champion was 86 years old. “It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday morning. While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace,” the family said in a statement. "To the world, he was a martial artist, actor, and a symbol of strength. To us, he was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, an incredible brother, and the heart of our family. He lived his life with faith, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to the people he loved. Through his work, discipline, and kindness, he inspired millions around the world and left a lasting impact on so many lives." Norris appeared in films such as “The Delta Force” and “Firewalker.” He also led the hit series “Walker, Texas Ranger.” Immediately after Norris' death was confirmed by the family, fans offered their thoughts on his legacy. “Hard to imagine a world without Chuck Norris. A true legend who defined toughness for generations. Beyond the memes and action roles, he clearly meant so much to his family and fans. Rest in peace to an icon,” one fan said. “They say Death once had a near-Chuck-Norris experience... today, Chuck finally decided to give Death a win.
